Work From Home
by ~ July 31st, 2008. Filed under: Work From Home. How do you find that perfect work from home job?
Some people want to work from home to supplement their income, while others want to make it a full-time income that can hopefully give them residual retirement income to support them and their families for years to come. With the multitude of work from home opportunities out there, how does one separate the good from the bad? How can we determine the ones that will be around for the long haul, and those home business opportunities that we will be lucky if they are still around next week?
One of the most important things to do to determine if a work from home program is right for you is to research the company. This can be time consuming, but it is a necessary task if you want to get started on the right foot. The flip side to this is that ever since the Internet became such an important medium for marketing, it may have added a certain degree of difficulty to this. The main reason for this is that anyone can have an impressive-looking website. This is relatively easy to do and inexpensive. This is why you really have to do your homework.
First of all, make sure that they have a physical address. This next one is not as important, but see if they are a member of their local chamber of commerce. And yes, you can even do research about that work from home opportunity on the Internet: for example, you can find out if there is any negative press about them, and if there is any validity to it. And if at all possible, try to go to the corporate headquarters and see how the operation is run, and meet and get to know some of the management if you can. All these can be factors that will help you in deciding if it would be a good fit for you, and they will give you more insight as to whether or not the company will be around for a while.
If things dont feel right, or if your gut is telling you to hold off on deciding on something, there is probably a good reason for it. You are better off trusting your instincts about what work from home program is solid or not. Something else you will want to find out is how long the company has been around. This is critical, because you want a company with a track record. Though the companies in so-called pre-launch can be enticing, the odds of their success are very slim. And, of course, when a work from home program is in this pre-launch, you also would want to make sure that they sell a real, tangible product, because the fact of the matter is that quite a few of them dont.
Buying Customers – the Most Effortless Way to Work from Home
But the thing about most of the work from home programs is that they are dependent upon you sponsoring people into the program. This is how you earn your income – from your own recruiting efforts. There are various ways to do this, but it usually starts with bothering family and friends. And when people find that they have started to alienate them, they begin to re-think this whole work from home idea. It is not as easy or as fun as a lot of the business opportunities would like you to believe.
This is precisely the reason why I buy customers. What I have found is that by buying customers, I am investing in my future, and I see a return on my investment each month. I do not have to waste a lot of money to market the work from home program. I dont have to try to recruit people – people who most of the time dont want to hear from me anyway. And the best part of all is that family and friends remain just that – my family and friends.
