What do you look for in a work from home opportunity?
Well, this is a good question, but first, you have to actually define what you mean by work from home. When surfing the Internet, you see various things – you see things advertised for typing from home, or opening up e-mails, or doing transcription from home. But is this what you are looking for in a home business opportunity?
I have found that while some may be looking for something that will provide them with income for the present – that is, getting paid for services rendered – what others want in a work from home job is something where they can earn for the present, but that will also provide residual income for the future. The typing, opening e-mails or doing transcription do not provide the residual income down the road, nor are they really the road to financial independence that a lot of people are looking for. So for the most part, people are looking for network marketing companies by which they can sponsor people who will in turn sponsor more people and they can build their organization in this manner.
In trying to decide on that work from home program, finding the right one for you can be a challenge. Here are just a few of the differences you will find:
Varying pay plans and commission levels Some have a multitude of products, while others stick to only two or three Some are publicly traded while others are not. And when you think about it, just about all successful sales organizations are multi-level. The manager of a widget sales company, for example, earns commissions from the sales volume of the people in his organization. The district manager earns commissions based on the sales of his managers and his managers salespeople. And the regional manager earns commissions based on the volume of his district managers, their managers, and their managers salespeople.
When You Buy Customers, You Dont Have to be a Superstar
But lets face it. Most people just are not cut out to be salespeople. Most of us cannot put on that – and often somewhat phony – happy face and try to sell someone a widget, whether they could actually use one or not. Most of us are not designed that way, and most are not really looking for that in a work from home opportunity.
This is what makes buying customers so great. Some network marketing programs upline members will talk about leveling the playing field, but they really dont know the true meaning of the word until it comes to buying customers. This is because anyone can earn commissions when they buy customers. It is not limited to the superstar salespeople who have skins thicker than armadillos. (You know who I am talking about. The ones who you can yell at and curse at and call all sorts of names and they will still just shrug it off and continue to tell you – usually in that rather loud voice – just how much you need ABC Companys widget!)
Ordinary People Work from Home and Earn by Buying Customers
People from all walks of life and all backgrounds have found that just by buying customers each month they are earning when they never thought they would be able to. They dont need to do any coaxing or convincing. No selling and begging. They dont waste money or time trying to sponsor people into the work from home opportunity, and they dont need to do cold calls nor do they experience the rejection that inevitably follows. They just buy customers – people who are already using the products and loving them – and get paid commissions based on their purchases.
